The term Specialty Coffee first appeared in 1974 by Emma Knutsen in Coffee & Tea magazine, describing high-quality coffee, which stands out for its distinctive taste due to its unique characteristics, which are due to the special microclimate that is cultivated.
According to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), only coffee that has a cupping score of 80 and above on the final grading scale of 100 points, is characterized as a specialty.
With passion, patience, but also the valuable help of our partners, we begin the journey of coffee with the selection of the best coffee beans and we walk with them in every step from cultivation, harvest, transport, to careful roasting, excellent storage and maintenance, but also the precious hands of the baristas.
